Now our second child was born, Aurelia, the name means the golden light. Because right now it’s the darkest time of the winter and the new cycle of light has just began after winter solstice.
I wish you all a fine autumn,
This is my realm, this is my loyalty and for this I share my life. Here’s some footage and photos from the Alvastra Abbey Ruins.
Went out to find good spots for photo sessions, and this medieval fort ruin, called Ragnhildsholmen, was great. Ragnhildsholmen belong to Norway around 1250’s when it was built. Sweden won over the whole region in 1658 in The Roskilde Peace Treaty negotiations.
Our first child was a summer solstice child, and our second will be a winter solstice child. One in the peak of the flourishing year and the second to be the reborn light at the darkest time of the year.
The last day of April was the first real good spring day and May has come out mostly sunny so far – not that warm, but sunny and the long Nordic days give you a sense of timelessness.
After our travels and time all-three-together I’m now spending much more one-on-one quality time with Florens. Of course I’ve already been a sort of stay at home dad, while traveling and at home,
The last 6 months have been so amazing, yet there’s so much more to come and be done. But for the nearest now, and the summer to come, we’ll be in the north,
In this post I’ll show you the various vegetarian and vegan food alternatives you can find in Split. We stayed for three weeks all in all and went to eat at the places at various times,
Every morning I take a walk with Florens and we get some fresh stuff back home for breakfast. The morning ocean air, the rays of sun and pleasant warmth together with the surrounding old,
A good indication you’ve been at the right place is that you feel like you’re leaving when it’s about to get much better. We had a fine winter and early springtime during our stay in Mostar.
The winter is gone already, and springtime is already here in Mostar. What else to call the time you already sit on the balcony and walk around in lighter jackets? We are rounding off our travels for this time,
Just shaering some scenes from our December days in Mostar. The weather has been really nice, like early spring, blue skies and sunshine.
Since we arrived in Mostar I’ve been busy getting practical things done. The weather has been really good, a late week in November was sunny with 20 C during the day, which we fully enjoyed.
We landed in Zadar and checked into a fine room in the old town. We had planned to spend two nights in Zadar and two nights in Split before getting to Mostar. That would leave us with at least one full day in both of those beautiful Dalmatian old towns.
It’s soon time for us to leave Öland and head down to Southern Europe.
The forest nymph is not that much of a spectacular person.
In this post I want to show some daily scenes and share a video collage of a day in Öland. Waking up is amazing in a house surrounded by nature, contemplating during while morning light scares away the night.
Winds halted, gates seemed inviting, arrows flew and she was by my side. Sunday morning to evening was just great. We started off the day with music, as we always do. She takes me to the keyboard and we play –
Just as September was done we were ready to leave the west coast and head out to Öland. Where we plan to stay for a couple of months. It’s lovely here, but very very windy,
