Voynich Manuscript – Complete PDF Book

The Voynich Manuscript drawings are naive in their style, but the script is perfect and there is no sign of error in any of the pages. It is assumed to have been written at the end of the 15th or 16th century. The name comes from the antiquarian Wilfrid M. Voynich who purchased it in 1912. Why was something elaborate like this ever made? Was it a medicinal book or just an elaborated piece of work within the interest of a group? In any case, the book is the definition of a mysterious book. There are vivid drawings and symbols on the pages to behold, each and every one of a kind without a known author nor purpose. Download the complete book Voynich Manuscript PDF (Right click and save attachment, or open the file in a new tab, but remember it’s a big file).

Described as a magical or scientific text, nearly every page contains botanical, figurative, and scientific drawings of a provincial but lively character, drawn in ink with vibrant washes in various shades of green, brown, yellow, blue, and red. – Beinecke Library on the Voynich Manuscript

Here’s a fine presentation by Stephen Bax, a professor of applied linguistics at CRELLA* at the University of Bedfordshire. He’s the person in the forefront of decoding the manuscript after publishing his work earlier this year and posting a very informative, exciting and interesting video on his theories. He’s involved other people and collaborators in the decoding of the book. It’s fun to follow and falls in the category of real life entertainment.

The content consists of six sections as explained at the Voynich Manuscript web page at the Beinecke Library. Based on the subject matter of the drawings, the contents of the manuscript falls into six sections.

  1.   botanicals containing drawings of 113 unidentified plant species;
  2. astronomical and astrological drawings including astral charts with radiating circles, suns and moons, Zodiac symbols such as fish (Pisces), a bull (Taurus), and an archer (Sagittarius), nude females emerging from pipes or chimneys, and courtly figures;
  3. a biological section containing a myriad of drawings of miniature female nudes, most with swelled abdomens, immersed or wading in fluids and oddly interacting with interconnecting tubes and capsules;
  4. an elaborate array of nine cosmological medallions, many drawn across several folded folios and depicting possible geographical forms;
  5. pharmaceutical drawings of over 100 different species of medicinal herbs and roots portrayed with jars or vessels in red, blue, or green, and
  6. continuous pages of text, possibly recipes, with star-like flowers marking each entry in the margins.

    Hello.
    I am not a professional linguist or code breaker. I was curious about this manuscript and I wanted just to get an impression what it looks like. So, I downloaded it from your web page (link “Download the complete book Voynich Manuscript PDF”.

    To my surprise, I realized that this IS NOT the complete book. Namely, page 68r is wrong. These are, actually, pages 68v1,68v2. Page 68v is, actually page 68v3.

    Pages 68r1, 68r2, and 68r3 ARE MISSING.

    Best regards.

    Konstantin

      Hello Konstantin!

      You were right, I updated the PDF so those pages are included now. It seems that they initially made a mistake at the Yale library but have updated the version.

      Thank you

    I know, and strongly believe, for a long time, that this is about Philosophers stone, the secret of creation, the secret of nature, THE ONLY hidden secret of ancient scholars considered to be the highest education since all other education will die with our corpse. My dissertation published as “History of Medical and Spiritual Sciences of Siddhas of Tamil Nadu” has hints on it.

      In some of the pics it appears that all the women are soaking in green tea there’s a hint an a place to start but remember old scripts are meant to fool the modern man think old ways an start with green tea ya never know

    I see repetitive numbers- if you turn it upside down… you can’t say which is the front of the book nor can you say which is the starting end of the writing . They could have written from right to left, bottom to top and you could have the book backwords and upside down.
    Not everything is written the way we write now. Remember Japanese books are backwards to ours.
    Look from a different perspective. You all only see what you want to see.

      Thanks for the input. Sure, not to mention coded with an additional book used as the decoding cipher.

    The manuscript is a realtime Astro-Cosmo-Nomical recording of the movements and actions of the planets Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, and especially Venus, and of Venus’s affect on earth’s — ор, ар, гая — and especially on women and fertility. The “plants” are the visible to the naked eye electromagnetic plasma discharges in our atmosphere – reason for tbe symmetricity in shapes of the “strange looking flowers”.
    The text represents maticulous, day-to-day observations of planets and their previous annual migration in the ancient sky, including every real-time changes in morphng plasma discharges — electricity is symmetrical in nature, so are the shapes created by it.
    Each word is composed of either one, two, or three planets, therefore the ever changing Рор, Рар, Прар, Врор, … etc. The text also identifies the locations of such plasma discharges, btw, (near the water’s edge… I read in the next to one of the “plants”.
    About women and water – planet Venus and fertility is known from anciquity….
    I recommend a much closer understanding and knowledge of the “Thunderbolt Project” to any linguist and/or decipherer who wants to understand the true meaning of all planetary symbols in Voynich.
    Cheers,

      I take back the “…one, two, or three planets per word” comment, as it will be greatly misunderstood… nonetheless; I am
      able to read, pronounce and comprehend most words in Slavic …with the use of Cyrillic letters.

        Now that you mention it. I see the similarities too, with the Glagolitic script sort of. But I have not made anything out of it. It could point to something or a direction though. /All the best

    maybe it is written in a similar way to Leonardo Da Vinci’s work. I noticed some parts are almost identical.

    My goodness people. This is an art work scam, not a book of secret knowledge. Books were very valuable then. Someone probably found a rich mark, made this book, or had it made, and sold it for an enormous profit, probably saying he found it or it was given to him under mysterious circumstances, promising it contains alchemical secrets or something. He knew the buyer would never be able to decipher it to find out that it’s fake, simply because it doesn’t mean anything. How many suckers has this thing taken in since?

      Christopher-
      I find it wonderfully predictable that hubris and assumption are always chums. Your use of the word probably and your condescending tone are obvious indicators of a low self esteem and the need to be right and to make others feel inferior. Get over it. Either you know or you don’t. Riding a high horse while saddling suppositions makes you look like an ass. And rightfully so.

    From an outside view. It looks like the plants are explaining what they can do. The women and tubes seems like some sort of “vat like” machinery and the jars look like necessary ammounts of the plant based ingredients that need to be added to some sort of mixture….it honestly looks like the closest representation of a “cloaning” process of you were to try to explain it with no idea what your seeing….could,be 100 percent wrong just a thought.

      I felt that as well, it seems to be a cloning process, as it seems to have identical women on one page, and so on.

    did anyone compare the drawings of the plants with the Chinese/Asian knowledge of medical herbology and pharmacology ?
    Or any related knowledge that they might have ?

    In some other websites its said that its decoded, but some what the there are pages that have illustrations that seems to be not a plant that is on earth, well then why would the book contain strange astrology, I simply believe that this is not as simple as that.

    I’m just curious, King regards

    You seem to have a handle on the decoding, look forward to seeing more of the decoding. Looks rather Herbalist, but in the 1400s, Most Doctors were Herbalists. (so I think).

    Dear everyone, maybe this is just an idiots observation, but I see many different languages in these letters. I see Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, Latin, as well as Native Indian. I also see paragraphs and fairly straight lines. I see words and sentences that are self punctuating. I also see a Venus Fly Trap and a very not so well known cave slug. I notice also that the parchment has very different areas of skin thickness and blotches of tanning. It would not suprise me if the pages were found to be from a great number of different places from Asia to the Americas. This would require a DNA test with a breakdown of pollen content to verify. I strongly suspect that this is a language that was our own until humans migrated across the globe and language developed into today’s more recognised separate entities, much like the handful of people who still study pigeon English and druid rituals. Might sound crazy, but when convention fails, unconventional must be considered. Hope I’m not too batty. What do you think? Thanks Dario

    I think that this book would like to explain the conditions of other planets, the effects of magnetic fields on the growth of the trees (my hypothesis), the secret relationship between crop circles (maybe). I am Mohsen Forouzanmehr (Msc_SUT_Iran).

    I believe this document is a graphic explanation of the document The Pistis Sophia of Jesus Christ.
    It’s about the soul.
    http://gnosis.org/library/pistis-sophia/index.htm
    The souls are portrayed as female with breasts and a swollen abdomen because the soul is considered to be female it has a womb that contains the spirits of darkness or of holy light whichever the soul invites into itself. The soul is explained in the other books of the Nag Hammadi library.
    An ancient Nun or monk probably wrote it based on visions that he experienced from places his or her soul may have visited outside of our earth. The cosmic stuff is also from their trip through the cosmos much like the book of Enoch Enoch is referred to as the scribe of righteousness he made visits into the cosmos and made accounts of various trees and botanical stuff that we don’t have here on earth. Enoch documented them on his travels to the outer realms as well. The tubes that the female figurines go thru are depictions of the soul and what happens to it after death. If you read the book of Enoch, you will begin to understand some of this stuff. The different fates that souls undergo after it leaves our flesh bodies depends on how we lead our lives while we still lived in our flesh bodies. We have right up to the time of our death to repent from our deeds. Our souls can have another chance or endless chances to repent through the cycles of reincarnation. The tubes and stuff that the souls go down into are the valley’s and pits that are talked about in the book of Enoch about the places our soul goes after it leaves the flesh body. The Emerald tablets of Thoth also explain the halls of amenti through his travels through the underworld. He explained how his soul was saved from the dark ruler and how he can still travel back and forth through the tunnels and chambers in the underworld but he is no longer bound to the chains of the dark ruler so he can come and go as he pleases. The zodiac chart is an explanation of the gods of the zodiac and how they put our souls back into a new body for a new reincarnation into a new cycle of the flesh so it can have another chance to get into the holy kingdom. The explanation of what happens to the soul is explained by Jesus in the Pistis Sophia. The geoglyphic symbols are also found in crop circles and are possibly connected to the zodiac rulers.
    This Nun or monk probably made it into the light kingdom and received his other half in the marriage chamber and was then able to travel through all the realms and back and forth without being held captive to the darkness by the dark ruler. The explanation of the soul is in http://www.gnosis.org/naghamm/exegesis-barnstone.html
