How to notice a false guru, coach, preacher or teacher and “inspirator”

I only spend time observing those who actually have a family or some other sort of struggle and a real life of practicing what they preach.

The more connected the world gets the more of its horrors reach us but also more solutions, from different fields of “isms”. Be that scientism, spiritualism, political isms or what have you. I’ve noticed there are a lot of modern day “inspirators” who teach and preach half achieved wisdoms and repeat some percentage of what holy people had taught. The problem I see is that first of all, whenever someone is always using the same format, same medium and the same approach (that means mostly online) they can say anything, but not live up to it. I only spend time observing those who actually have a family or some other sort of struggle and a real life of practicing what they preach. Everything else is just a rock & roll show on a lesser decibel scale. I need not to mention the phony quantum, pineal gland, raw food, meditation hype coming from these false preachers. Where they always reveal themselves in coming to the point of accepting and nourishing the ego, the darkness and so on. Which basically is an excuse for whatever they are not showing in a video for example.

Note that anything is maybe better than nothing? Yes, maybe. But if you read this you have seen the examples I’m mentioning and have doubts or you are searching for a discussion about it. I would also like to mention again, there are good teachers out there but for every tip of an iceberg there is a….

…mix in some words like compassion and universal love or prāṇa – you’ll have the Starbucks of quick spiritual coffee

The short spiritual kick. A common thing of relief is to smoke a cigarette. The same way a concise Swedish smörgåsbord of philosophical, spiritual, political and medical can be offered to people – which they like since these false teachers have great audiences. But what a not fulfilled teacher who offers his or hers life as an example will teach is sloppiness. Meaning that everything is “eat when you’re hungry” and in the same way to feel you are in the center of the universe, when it suits you. Then mix in some words like compassion and universal love or prāṇa – you’ll have the Starbucks of quick spiritual coffee. I am no authority but those authorities I’ve observed and follow – they never choose “me me me” “now now now” or take the quick short solution to a doubt, dilemma, tragic happening and such. They give their everything to really become the wisdom they have been taught and through dedication and full compassion teach it.

There are no other ways about it. Try to look for tradition and what has worked throughout the eons of human life on this planet.

There is no great spiritual awakening in the world, just because we have rock & roll spiritualism giving quick doses of short bursts of enlightenment. The real deal takes a higher kind of dedication. My main reason for even writing this is because I’ve seen people  being in a “process” of self awakening or what have you for such a long time with no foundation after years and years. Remember, I’m not saying we cannot or should avoid to search for something all our life. But if you have tried something for years and still got nothing from it – either your inspiration was wrong or you are doing it the wrong way. There are no other ways about it. Try to look for tradition and what has worked throughout the eons of human life on this planet.
