2016 was full of road trips and adventures, plus many things accomplished for both of us. For 2017 one big thing will be for us to move to a bigger place, as the one room apartment has done for us what it could. We could travel a lot and have a cheap rent for all these years, even before Florens was born. Now we are out there looking for a root point to setup a home, home office and all that. To make a new home for us. By no means does this apply any form of less adventures, road trips and such – just that we can live in a place with less stuff all around.
For now, here in Mostar we’re having a good time, the weather has gone a bit colder and more windy. But still, it’s much more sunshine and generally better than what we’re used to in Göteborg. Winter here is not that cold really, some days can feel like early Swedish spring days. This is our home, we like Bosnia & Herzegovina, Croatia and this region. That’s what we’re doing, making ourself at home at different places.
Scenes from our daily life.
Longer rant of ideas and thoughts about the time ahead of us all. In the end of the video I also show you this abandoned space age memorial monument in Mostar for fallen WWII soldiers who liberated Yugoslavia from the occupiers.
Compressed thoughts about destiny and free will, combined with footage from the great film Neotpravlennoe pismo (Letter Never Sent) from 1960.
