Here’s another stave church from this years last roadtrip in Norway. It’s the Torpo stave church, located in Buskerud on a hillside overlooking the valley below. Beautiful surroundings as always and some extra for the autumn mood.
Interesting mix of ancient norse and then modern christian church architecture. Apparently there were about 1000 of them once upon a time. The Borgund stave church is the one best kept intact through time…
